Privacy rights and grievance handling

This page explains how a user of insolvation.com can request access, correction, deletion where applicable, withdrawal of consent, unsubscribe help, or raise a privacy grievance.

Contact role: Privacy and Grievance Contact Email: info@insolvation.com Response target: initial response within 7 business days and substantive resolution or reasoned update within 30 days

Identity verification workflow. Insolvation now uses a verification-link step for backend privacy-rights requests tied to an email address. The request is acknowledged into the workflow only after that email verification is completed, unless another verified support path is used.

1) Available requests

Access

Ask what subscription, consent, or correspondence data Insolvation holds about you in relation to insolvation.com.

Correction

Request correction of inaccurate or outdated personal data where correction is appropriate.

Deletion

Request deletion where the data is no longer needed, consent is withdrawn, or deletion is otherwise applicable subject to legal, security, or suppression-retention needs.

Withdraw consent / unsubscribe

You may withdraw article-alert consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in the email or by contacting us directly.

2) Submit a verified backend privacy request

You can also use Insolvation's backend workflow for privacy-rights requests. Submit the request using the same email address connected with the site, then verify that email address using the verification link sent to you.

3) Identity verification

Before acting on a privacy request, Insolvation may ask for reasonable information needed to verify identity and locate the relevant data. Verification may include confirming control of the relevant email address or asking for context about the page, subscription, or correspondence involved.

4) How requests are handled

  1. Submit the request through the privacy form or send it to info@insolvation.com.
  2. Include the email address used with the site, the request type, and enough detail to identify the relevant records.
  3. Insolvation will acknowledge the request and, if necessary, ask for verification or clarification.
  4. After verification, Insolvation will provide the requested action, a partial response, or a reasoned explanation if some data must be retained for compliance, security, suppression integrity, or dispute handling.

5) Response timelines

Target service level: initial response within 7 business days and substantive resolution or reasoned update within 30 days. Complex requests may require additional time, but Insolvation should provide a status update if that happens.

6) Grievance escalation

If you believe a privacy issue was not handled appropriately, you may send a grievance directly to the same contact and mark the subject as Privacy grievance.

7) Notes on deletion and suppression

Deletion requests are assessed alongside the need to keep minimal suppression records so that an unsubscribe or withdrawal request continues to be respected. Security logs, outbound delivery logs, and dispute-related records may also be retained for limited periods where justified.
